HAVERHILL -- Haverhill Youth Soccer has opened registration for its Development Program and In-Town Soccer league, the organization announced on its website.

YOUTH LEAGUES

The Development Program, open to players from Pre-K through Grade 2, runs eight weeks on Saturdays and is priced at $100 per player for Pre-K and kindergarten and $125 per player for Grades 1 and 2. In-Town Soccer registration is open for players in Grades 3 and 4.

The club's TOT Soccer program for 3-year-olds, a six-week Sunday morning introduction to the game at $70 per player, remains a standing option for the youngest players.

For older and more competitive players in Grades 3 through 8, the Travel program competes within the Essex County Youth Soccer Association. The Town Select League, a MA Youth Soccer initiative that places players on select teams drawn from multiple towns with a focus on development, is also on the horizon; the club noted that tryout links are coming soon and that there is no cost to register for tryouts.

Players in Grades 6 through 12 interested in giving back to the game can apply to the Youth Leadership Program, earning volunteer hours by mentoring younger participants on Saturdays and Sundays.

Haverhill Youth Soccer, founded in 1961, is a 100% volunteer-led nonprofit. Registration is available through the organization's website.
