Haverhill Youth Soccer announces Town Select League tryouts as it preps for its fall season.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Haverhill Youth Soccer posted "yay soccer season is starting soon!!" on its homepage this week as the nonprofit, run by an all-volunteer board, prepares its fall programs. The league laid out its offerings: TOT Soccer for 3-year-olds runs six weeks on Sunday mornings for $70 per player; the Development program, for Pre-K through Grade 4, runs eight weeks on Saturdays for $100 per player (Pre-K/K) or $125 per player (Grade 1/2); and the Travel program, for grades 3-8, fields teams in the Essex County Youth Soccer Association.

The league also announced tryouts for its Town Select League (TSL) team under MA Youth Soccer, with links "coming soon." There is no cost to register for TSL tryouts; players must attend at least one but may attend multiple, and are rostered to the team closest to their residence regardless of where they tried out.

Separately, the league's Youth Leadership Program is recruiting volunteers in grades 6-12 to mentor and earn volunteer hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
